CURRAN & MAYNARD TAKE ON C3

CURRAN & MAYNARD TAKE ON C3

November 16th, 2008  |  Published in EVENTS  |  8 Comments

On November 22, Patrick “Paddy Mike” Curran and Levon “The Maynman” Maynard take on some of the best fighters in the midwest at C3 Full Contact Fighting.

Patrick Curran will fight for the C3 lightweight title against Darren Elkins. Both fighters are putting their perfect 6-0 records on the line for this fight.

Patrick is quickly catching the eyes of many promoters after making his national debut on the hit TV show TapouT. Showing tremendous heart and tenacity Patrick has accumulated a 6-0 record that has come at the expense of some very tough opponents.

Levon Maynard looks to continue his win streak against 7-0 Kenny Robertson.

Levon, a top welterweight prospect in the country, according to fiveouncesofpain.com, is determined not to let this fight go to the judges. After two controversial losses in Atlantic City, Maynard said, “I was pretty disappointed about the 2 losses and I know that I can’t leave things in the judges hands, especially if I’m fighting in my opponent’s hometown”. Since then Maynard has quickly dispatched his last 3 opponents (Jay R. Palmer, John Doyle and Toby Johnson) in the first round and looks to do the same at C3.

C3 Full Contact Fighting boasts an impressive card featuring WEC and EliteXC veterans. The event will be held at the Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Indiana on November 22.
