On September 19th Jeff “Big Frog” Curran will step into the boxing ring against Miguel Angel Figueroa in a four round lightweight bout. Chicago’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING, presents “LIBERTY”, an evening of world class professional boxing celebrating Mexican Independence Day on Friday, September 19th at Cicero Stadium.
Curran is taking this bout at 136lbs and is using it to stay sharp as he gets down to 135lbs for MMA where he will set his sights on the WEC bantam weight belt currently held by fellow Chicago native, Miguel Angel Torres.

Correction Jeff is taking this bout at 136 pounds. Although he is a fat 149 right now. No worries though, he’s hitting the treadmill now!

Curran boxed a tomato can to promote himself as a boxer. In reality Curran appears to have no genuine boxing skills and should acquire some to compliment his grappling skills. Curran is a shameless self promoter and promoting himself as a “boxer” proves that.

Leon, This shows how much you know, which aint much.
1. Curran is trained by Doug Mango who is very accomplished boxing coach
2. SuckerPunch promotes Jeff
3. Since you know so much about boxing why don’t you make a trip to his gym and spar a few rounds with him?
