On Saturday, January 23rd Levon “The Maynman” Maynard will take on IFL standout and TUF 9 veteran Mark Miller. “Levon is a very well rounded fighter with heavy hands and ridiculous reach, he is fast and doesn’t mind keeping it on the feet. He’s a high level athlete that does not like to take easy fights and is always looking to challenge himself to prove to himself that he belongs”, said manager Brian Butler. “I’m quite comfortable standing with Mark if thats the way the fight goes but if it ends up on the ground I’m quite comfortable there as well”, said Maynard reffering to his purple belt in BJJ, “It should be an exciting fight and I’m really looking forward to it!”
Also on the card is fellow SuckerPunch fighter Ryan “The Rhino” Sturdy who is returning to the cage after his epic battle at UWC against Rashad Woods. Ryan will face Dan Bolden at 185lbs.
Other prospects to watch are welterweight Blaine Podkowa and featherweight Joey Diehl.
