Darren
sorry for the late response on the mount question. When i get the mount I am usually already looking for an arm in the transition. Basically, an advanced version of taking the mount. You should really look for people to expose their arms during the transition mainly. Once you mount, a smart guy will hide his arms. yes, in mma the punches force giving the back or the arm, but when they know you can't, you have to make you know how to push their buttons. Force the arms around their head, push the neck etc.
ACtually, a really advanced way to look at attacking from the mount has something to do with being a little more dramatic. For example, tricking your opponent to thinking they have an opening for escape or reversal. Use as bait. Know your attacks of course, but that is what training is for. Trial and Error. people forget that. Check the ego at the door and go explore!!
Thanks for all the support guys. This 2 part technique series of the North South triple attack positon (not sure of what else to call it) is my new favorite. ONce you learn it, use it sparingly because it becomes easy to detect. However, sharpen with your favorite partners and guys who want to explore the defense to it so when you hit competition or new guys visit the gym or out of towners, you can tear it up!!

Love this! How often can I expect to see new ones?
What would you go for when you have mount position besides armbar? I always feel stuck when I get there. I understand in MMA I would be punching but in grappling what other options would you suggest? Thanks in advance!

Thanks Big Frog! and good luck with StrikeForce!
