Hate to tell you “Stomper” but Bowles, isnt going to be able to hang with Torres. Whereas Curran has a gift that only a few of the top Fighters have. The ability to fight at Championship level in more then one division…and what really pisses me off, is despite everything Curran has done…noone seems to know or care anything about him enmass…I know he has fans but nothing like the recognition he should have…Has Faber ever fought in the UFC…and look at how well known Matt Serra is…I’m sorry but you have to consider that Curran should swing some charge just because of who he has been with the matchmakers..but even if he does have to fight many times prior to the Title…so what? almost all the fighters down there would make for an exciting match-up.

Besides…do you know how bloody rude it is to come onto a site like this and be disrespectful? as for records…how many fights did you say Bowles has…You dont want to go down that road.

To Big Frog Stomper,

That is an uneducated example. You are trying to say that someone who has the experience couldn’t win against someone who won 4 fights. Let’s flip this over. Could BOwles take Kid the distance? No. Could Bowles run a BJJ clinic on Faber before a cut changed the fight? No. COuld Bowles last 3 rounds against the guy who KO’d Faber? No. Bowles is a good fighter and has a bright future in the sport, he is not however the Big Frog. When you realize what you have in Curran you will never second guess him. BJJ expert under Pedro Sauer, Top level boxing under Doug Mango, trains in THE highest quality MMA gym in the United States, never shows up out of shape or overweight, you will see that he is a dominant fighter and will have Torres’s belt around his waist in no time.

Jeff needs to worry about getting some wins in before he worries about a title shot. His talked a big game when he hit the 45 div.

Brian Bowles is the future of the 135 WEC division. Look at who he has fought. Do you this Curran would have gone 4-0 against those animals?
