January 30th will mark the much anticipated amateur MMA debut of Jason David Frank when he takes on Johnathon “the Mack Truck” Mack at the Legacy Fighting Championship in Houston, TX.
Jason is known worldwide for his role as “Tommy Oliver” on the long running TV show “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”. Ever since we announced Jason’s plans to throw his hat into the cage and compete in MMA, it has been the single most viewed page on our site with hits and comments coming from all over the world.
The fight will be a heavy weight match up. That is two divisions above Jason’s targeted division of 185lbs. “I walk around at over 210lbs and I’m in pretty good shape as is, I know I can beat this guy so I wanted this fight no matter what weight it was at!” Jason stated. “I know as I develop I will need to go down in weight, but this is the fight I want for my debut. Jonathan is big and tough and I think it will show that I am for real if I take down a giant in my debut”.

I truly believe that Jason Frank will triumph in his debut MMMA bout. I;m rooting for you Jason. After a couple of fights there is no doubt your surporters will see you in one of the big organizations UFC or Strikeforce. (preferably the UFC)

I think you will blow all your competition out of the water, Jason. I know that you will do a great job. From what I heard, you do a great job at the schools you run. I heard from someone who says that they know that you are an amazing, friendly guy. I hope you do well in your up coming fight. If there was a way other than seeing it posted on youtube to watch your match online, i would. So good luck. I am going to be rooting for you.

As much hype there is for this fight, do not underestimate your opponent Jason. I know you can win but just because I and many other feel like that we wont know what will happen. Once you enter the ring anything can happen.

Yes Jason Frank won his first MMA fight by submission. It wasn’t a walk in the park for him though. Dont worry Jason you will blow them out of the water next time. hopefully we will see you fight in 3 months??

. just got a little PUMPED 1st Fight main event LONG night. In my dressing room the medic was tending to a guy with a broken arm. To my right one guy throwing up in the trash can and 1 passed out in the shower.
