7 SuckerPunch fighters will be featured on the main card of the XFO this weekend in Island Lake, IL.
It has been a crazy week leading up to this event with card changes and evolving commission regulations but it looks like it is finally all set.

Bart Palaszewski was scheduled to headline the card but a late injury has forced him to withdraw from the fight. This is the first time Bart has been forced to withdraw from a fight but we look to see him back in action soon. Pat Curran will step up to fill Barts spot on the card and will be going up in weight to do so. Pat will face Barts original opponent Lucus Gwaltney.

Dave Terrel will be making his long awaited return to the cage and will be facing Brent Mehrhoff. Terrel is looking to get back to his winning ways that he had with the WEC and says that this fight will mark his return to glory. Terrel is considering moving down to 155lb and if that happens he will be a handful in that division.

Top middle weight prospect Igor Almeida (5-0) has had to deal with multiple opponent changes in the past couple of weeks before finally settling on wrestling powerhouse Jason Bowling.

Xtreme Challenge middleweight title holder Ryan Sturdy will have a grudge match against cross town favorite Bill Hill. There is some bad blood between these two because of the trash talk from Hill and his camp. Sturdy is looking to make a point on Saturday.

Mike Merrello is looking to get back in fight shape by coming back down to 205lb where he will face Rich Lictawa.

Dwayne Shelton will be getting back to his ways after injuries kept him from fighting for the past several months. Dwayne was originally slated to fight John Hosman at 135 but Hosman got the call from WEC so Dwayne is now going to be fighting Pete Grimes at 145lbs.

Mike Corey who has also been sidelined with injuries will make a return to fight a very game John Murphy.
