Thanks to everyone for showing your support. It was a tough fight. I give a lot of credit to Kyle for putting on such a great fight. I really hope that I get a chance to rematch him in the future.

Kyle has a very pressure driven clinch that he uses to impose himself on his opponent. I got too caught up in his game and neglected implementing my own game plan. I tried to muscle him around too much and as a result my arms got heavy and I got caught with a punch that dazed me and caused a stoppage.

It was also unfortunate that Kyle’s cornerman showed so much disrespect to my cornermen and I after the fight. I couldn’t help but think about my family (including my Mom and girlfriend) that were in the audience and had to witness it. I have always tried to carry myself in a respectful and dignafied manner. I don’t have any enemies in this world, that I know of, so it was even more shocking to me to hear about his actions.

Besides the lost and the upsetting display from Kyle’s cornerman I had a blast out there at GMU and at Buffalo Wing University afterwards ;p I definitely want to give a shout out to everyone that came out to support me at the Patriot Center and watched me online at home. Big thanks goes out to all my sponsors as well…Freedom Bail Bonding, Jesus Didn’t Tap, Fight! Great fight Levon, back and forth and the crowd loved it. I was damn impressed by the clinch work, looked exhausting. Levon you are stil the same beast of a welterweight and Im excited to see more out of Kyle Baker.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me after the fight. Levon has often been accused of being too nice (his bio even said painfully polite i think). One would be hard pressed to think of anything negative he has said or shown in his actions and to see such flagrant disrespect after two professionals athletes just went through a war together disgusted me. To insult someone at their weakest moment is cowardly and completely uncalled for.

LeVon Maynard is one of the finest gentlemen in sports. He fought well on Saturday, and a rematch with Baker would be epic. I can’t wait for LeVon’s next fight.

Rick Mccoy sounds like a genuine Ass. I didn’t have an opportunity to watch the fight online, but when you have students from MMAI coming on here apologizing for his unprofessional behavior, well that speaks volumes.

I’d love to see a rematch as well

Was at the UWC and have to say it was a great show!

Were my eyes deceiving me or did this McCoy fellow flip Levon and his corner the middle finger after the fight!? I was there with my girlfriend and her brother and we all thought it was pretty disgraceful to see that.

Levon I hope to see you fight again soon, that was an exciting fight and you and your group showed real class.

To Suckerpunch, you guys continue to impress me with the way you operate and the stable of athletes you represent. Still giving credit to Levon’s opponent after the display his camp put on shows you have the moral high ground. I applaud you for that and best of luck you you and your team.
