In “Blindside”, SuckerPunch shows you the lives of the fighters that you don’t normally see. We will post pictures of our fighters outside the cage and let them tell you the story.
Let’s set the scene. This is picture of Jeff”Big Frog” Curran and his team after the weigh-ins the night before his WEC fight against Mike Brown. Along with having a fight less than 24 hours away and dealing with the construction of one of the biggest MMA gyms in the country, it was also his wife Sarah’s birthday and Jeff wanted to do something special for her and his team for making the trip out to Sacramento to support him.

First of all, this was not only my wifes 30th, but it was Bart’s and her sisters Birthday weekend as well as my agent Brian and his wife Liz’s 30th Anniversary. I felt like it was a good weekend to do somthing special for everyone. I planned a nice trip to San Francisco (about 2 hours from Sacramento) to have a nice dinner. Basically during this photo I was probably feeling a little anxious to eat at the restraunt we chose. I needed a huge steak to say the least. haha. but, of course i can’t help but think of everything else going on in my life and thinking to myself “Ughhh, i got to fight this guy Mike Brown tomorrow”. I was happy as hell to be with my friends, team and family.

kicking the snot out of brown, and I don’t care about other peoples opinion. Curran won that fight.

Uhhh Jeff, I think you’re working too much!… how old do you think we are?! I know we were young when we got married… but I wasn’t 5! lol. It was our 12th anniversery and the limo and dinner in San Fran it was a lot of fun, thanks!!!
