Thanks to the guys at SuckerPunch for all the help. The SPRAWL sponsorship really helps, love their shorts. Check them out at http://www.sprawl.tv

Training camp is going great. Sparring everyday with some very tough guys. K-1 vets like Duke Roufus and Pat Barry are bringing it on the feet. Thanks to all the guys at Roufusport for the help.

Cannot wait to fight Houston. He seems like a good guy, but business is business. He is a finisher, and so am I, so expect a good fight in September. Don’t miss it on the 17th!

Thanks guys. Houston looks like he hits very hard on his feet, especially in the clinch. I definately either want to keep my range on the feet and use my reach advantage or get it to the ground. If I get into a slug fest with him then it might be lights out for me. I have been doing rounds everyday with Pat Barry, a K1 guy with a similar style and size. Not fun, but I am ready…

I would say the ground is your best bet as Houston’s ground work is not on par with yours. I am no expert on mma or anything but that is my opinion.

Yes…I mean, he’s not invincible on his feet…but…his weakness is BY FAR the ground. Wooohooo I’m getting all excited for this card! Its so much more intense when your supporting someone because then you care about their training, and the fight is more…full of tension and stuff!!

Red has wicked ground skills. If/ when he gets ahold of Houston, its time to go to school. Go to work buddy…and…if you can find time in your life, how about givin ur ol’ mangy a call.
    go get em’

    Eric,

Houston is devastating in the clinch, but he has a very weak chin. Utilize youre reach and pop him one. When he falls, and he will, don’t let him get up. Good luck bro.

I heard you on MMAweekly last week and saw a replay of one of your fights on UFC last night. Im looking forward to this fight and I know you can win this! I agree with Bubbs to use your reach to keep your distance, dont try and trade to much… when the time is right shoot in and get this fool to the ground and Jits his ass! Good luck Red!

    Eric,

I have followed your 3 fights in the UFC and was very excited when you were winning your last UFC fight against Bonnar, man you took his back and I thought it was going to be over. I wish the UFC would spend more time building you up like they do with guys like Nate Diaz,Huerta Ect.. I have sold a few cars to people you train with , most recently to a gentleman about 6’5 260lbs tough as nails who had a big gash above his nose, when asked how he recieved it he mentioned it was through a sparring session with his buddy, later to find out it was you. I wish you the best and I hope you destroy this guy. When you win the KO Bonus come buy a car from me.
